VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 2729 - 1952 This being the date set, hearing was had on the resolution heretgge adopted by the Board of Public Works and Safety for the vacation of EAST WASHIN(re FROIJ THE, EAST LINE OF =DO DRIVE EAST A DISTANCE OF ONE HUNDRED THIRTY (130 t) FEET under vacation resolution No. 2729. • The Clerk of the Board having shown sufficient proofs of publication and no remonstrators having appeared and no written remonstrances having been filed with the Clerk, it was moved, seconded and unanimously carried that the said -resolution be finally adopted and the said street be vacated. The Engineering Department is directed to prepare an assessment roll covering the assessment of benefits and the award of damages to the surrounding properties. The Board next considered and approved the installation of^STOP-SIGNS at the j .iolloti^Ting locations: CARROLL STREET at EWI TG AVENUE LEER STREET at FAIRVIEW AVENUE . CLYDE STREET at FAIRVIEW AVEl E CLYDE STREET at TWYC1',ENHAI1I DRIVE PERSHING STREET at JOHNSON STREET. The Iaaintenance Bond of Hartman Builders`, Inc. in the sum of 03500.00 was j examined and found to be satisfactory covering the construction of Street Paving, Sidewalks, and Curbs extending North on Illinois Street from Lincolnway West to Bulla Street, effective as of this date for a period of three years, and was ordered j placed on file. ii Contractors Bonds, in the sum of '1,000.00 each, wore approved for Ace Contruction Company, and 1,1. E. ?'Ialters. . ELECTRICAL DEPART1.21TT: Ira Hunsberger, Superintendent of the Electrical Department was present and reported the installation of a 1000 lumen light at the northeast corner of Su-=,Tmede and 30th Street comipleted as of June 3Oth.
