May 26, 1952 <br />A regular meeting of the Board of Public Works was held Monday, May 26, 1952 at <br />10:00 A. M. All members were present. Minutes of the previous meeting were read and <br />approved. Jay Nimtz. After • <br />due consideration the Board agreed to release, in the matter of sewers, all easements <br />contained in Lots 63, 64.. 65, 66, 67 and 68, excepting the easement along the north- I <br />easterly line of Lot 63, and excepting the easement along the northerly line of lot 68; <br />all of said lots being in Edison Park, a sub -division of the City of South Bend, St. <br />Joseph County, Indiana. <br />DEDICATION <br />The Plat of, and Restrictions applicable to Twryckenham Hills, Section 'IF", in I <br />I� <br />Section 19, Township 37 North, Range 3 East,vapproved by the City Plan Commission i <br />Under date of April 3, 1952, was examined and approved by the Board. Recorded in <br />office of the County Recorder Book # , Page , and filed in Row # , Drawer I • <br />Mr. -Irving J. Smith appeared, representing the Auxiliary of the Jewish War Veterans <br />and requesting permission to hold a flower day sale on the downtown streets on July 2, <br />1952. Permission was so granted by the Board. <br />The written request of Harry and Bertha Zeigler for an easement for the purpose of <br />landscaping, planting grass, flowers, etc., at the location of the southwesterly half <br />of Clyde Street, from the easterly line of Twyckenham Drive to the southeasterly <br />boundary of Ridgedale Fifth Addition. The Board granted permission, in -line with this <br />request, specifying, however, that no large trees -are to be set out or permanent iE <br />installation of any kind is to be erected thereon, and that the City shall at all times <br />be free of any loss or damage in connection with the permission hereby granted. <br />IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 2702, 2703, 2709, 2715 - 1952 <br />The Engineer's Report was received and Preliminary Order signed by the Board for �) <br />the following streets and alleys covered by the above Improvement Resolutions: <br />ILLINOIS STREET from the north line of Western Avenue to the <br />south line of -Washington Street in accordance with Improvement Resolution No.2702 <br />for a Class C, Type 11 Cement Concrete Pavement AND <br />KENMORE STREET from the south line of Western Avenue to the north i <br />line of Ford Street in accordance with Improvement Resolution No. 2715 for a Class <br />f'C"t Type 3 Asphalt Base Binder and Surface Pavement AND �) <br />KLINGER STREET from the east line of Michigan Street to the west <br />line of Charles Street in accordance with Improvement Resolution 2709 for a Class 'fC't <br />Type 1 Cement Concrete Pavement AND <br />ALLEYS BETWEEN DONALD STREET, FOX STREET, DALE AVENUE AND 14IAMI <br />STREET in accordance with Improvement Resolution No. 2703 for Class 110 Type 1 <br />Cement Concrete Pavement. <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTED FINAL ASSESSMENT ROLL NO. 2673 -1952 <br />After hearing all persons interested who appeared and the Clerk of the Board of �� <br />
