SPECIAL MEETING April 11 1952 i A special meeting of the Board of Public Works was held at 2:30 P,M, Tuesday, April 1; 1952. All members were present. Also present at this meeting was Harry IVI. Tomlinson, { Street Commissioner. The matter -of the bids, for Street Department trucks and sewer -cleaning equipment, opened at the regular meeting of the Board, Monday, March 31, 1952, was immediately taken up. Mr. Tomlinson presented a work -sheet showing the comparative ratings of horsepower, vehicle gross weight, cubic inch displacement, foot-pound torque, capacities,, • and various features and merits of the trucks in question. After thorough consideration bids were accepted for Street Department trucks as follows: Teeter Sales & Service, Inc. 744 S. Main St., South Bend, Indiana 3 1 Model HC-451 gross wt. 19,500 lbs.
