Harry Swanson, Inc., asking for the vacation of <br />a portion of East Washington Avenue; a portion of Twenty-sixth Street; a portion of <br />Twenty-fifth Street; the first north -south alley east of Tuxedo Drive from Washington 1 <br />Street North a distance of 410 feet to Colfax Avenue; Twenty-fifth Street from the Northj <br />line of Colfax Avenue North a distance of 133 feet; Twenty-sixth Street from the north iI <br />line of Colfax Avenue North a distrance of 133 feet; the first north -south alley East of <br />Tuxedo Drive from Colfax Avenue north a distance of 133 feet; the first -north -south allejf <br />east of Twenty-fifth Street from the North line of Colfax Avenue north a distance of i <br />133 feet. This was referred to the City Plan Commission for investigation and report. j <br />{ • <br />The Board approved plans for street improvement on Sylvan Lane from Sample Street <br />to Scenic Drive. <br />E; <br />VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 2689 <br />This being the date set, hearing was had on the assessment roll showing the award <br />of damages and the assessment of benefits in the matter of the vacation of a part of <br />Klinger Street as shown on the Recorded Plat of Whitcomb & Keller's Beverly Heights 5th N <br />Addition described as follows: Beginning at a point on the north line of Klinger Stree t <br />Fifth (50) feettea� t of the southwest) 2nree o lot number 120 of said addition; thence <br />easterly oz�/ntgi hsotii�at�'olo� no. 2of said addition; thence South 190 i5r <br />East, twelve feet to a point due east of the place of beginning; thence west to the place • <br />of beginning,.under Vacation Resolution No. 2689. <br />In the above named assessment roll, no remonstrators appeared and now ritten re- <br />monstrances were filed. The Clerk of the Board submitted proofs of publication of not- <br />ices and same were found sufficient, and the Board, therefore, finds that the several to rls <br />and parcels of land have been benefited and damaged in the amounts shown on said roll. 11 <br />The. Board, therefore, decides to take final action on said assessment roll and declares <br />same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved without modification, and the pro- <br />ceedings closed, and the street vacated upon receipt of the amount of benefit assessment" <br />from the various property owners so benefitted and all proceedings had with reference to, <br />said street vacation are hereby sustained. . <br />
