3651 <br />VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 2695 <br />i <br />RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS CF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: That it <br />i <br />is desiratrle to vacate the following: <br />i The alley South of Monroe Street from Main Street West to the East line of the <br />north and south alley running from Monroe Street to South Street. <br />The following property may be injuriously or beneficially effected by such vacation <br />1 Lots numbered to 8 inclusive and Lots numbered 55 to 60 inclusive, in Martin's <br />i 43 4 , <br />Addition to the City of South Bend, Indiana. <br />• <br />• <br />• <br />0 <br />• <br />Notice of this resolution shall be published on the 23rd day of November and on the <br />30th day of November, 1951 in the South Bend Daily Tribune and the Tri-County News. <br />This Board, at its office in the City Hall on the 3rd day of December,-1951 at 11:0 <br />A. M. will hear and receive remonstrances from all persons interested in or affected by <br />these proceedings. <br />Adopted this 19th day of November, 1951. <br />R. S. Andrysiak <br />. Frank,J. Noble, Clerk <br />VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 2692 <br />This being the date set, hearing was had on the resolution heretofore adopted by <br />{ the Board of Public Works for the vacation of the first alley West of Eddy Street from <br />Washington Street north to the South line of the alley running East and West under Vaca- <br />tion Resolution No. 2692. The Clerk of the Board having shown sufficient proofs of <br />,publication and no remonstrators having appeared and no written remonstrances having bee <br />;filed with the Clerk, it was moved, seconded and unanimously carried that the said resol <br />i ution be finally adopted and the said alley be vacated. The Engineering Department is <br />directed to prepare an assessment roll covering the assessment of benefits and the <br />award of damages to the surrounding properties. <br />R. S. Andrysiak, City Engineer, filed primary assessment roll showing the awards of <br />damages and the assessment of benefits in.the matter of the vacation of the first alley <br />West of Eddy Street from Washington Street north to the South line of the alley running <br />East and West, under vacation Resolution No. 2692. <br />o <br />In the above named assessment roll, the Boar dhereby ordered that it will meet in <br />the City Hall at,11:00 A.M. on the 3rd day of December, 1951 for the purpose of hearing <br />j and receiving remonstrances from all persons interested in or affected by said vacation, <br />}and the Board further orders that notice of said hearing, together with the amount of <br />damages aw arded and benefits assessed be addressed to the property owners by publishing <br />same on the 23rd day of November and on the 30th day of November in the South Bend Daily <br />Tribune and the Weekly Record. <br />i <br />VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 2693 <br />j This being the date set, hearing was had on the resolution heretofore adopted by <br />the Board of public Works for the vacation of the first alley South of California Avenue <br />from Wilber Street West to the East line of the,North and South alley and from the West <br />line of the North and South Alley West to Adams.Street, under Vacation No. 2693. The <br />;Clerk of the Bard having shown sufficient proofs of publication, and no remonstrators <br />having .appe ared and no written remonstrances having been filed with the Clerk, it was <br />moved,, seconded and unanimously carried that the s aid resolution be finally adopted and <br />the said alley b e vacated.
