<br />V1'ELLINGTON STREET from the south line of Huron Street to the north line of Ford Street
<br />in accordance with Improvement Resolution No. 26?9, 1951, AND
<br />NORTH SHORE DRIVE from the west line of Michigan Street to the east line of Lafayette
<br />Blvd., in accordance with Improvement Resolution No. 2682, 1951, passed by this Board on
<br />August 20, 1951, and confirmed by this Board on September 17, 1951, we hereby report that we
<br />we have examined the several bids submitted to the Board on October 1, 1951 and find that
<br />the Reed Construction Company, Mishawaka, Indiana, has the lowest and best bids for Class
<br />"C" pavements on Illinois and Wellington Streets and Bituminous Concrete (AHJ re -surface
<br />pavement on North Shore Drive and that all other bids were over Engineer►s Estimate.
<br />We recommend that the kind of pavements placed on Illinois and Wellington Streets b�
<br />a Class "C" - Cement Concrete pavements; and a Bituminous Concrete (AH) Re -surface pavement
<br />on North Shore Drive.

<br />The H. G. Christman Construction Company was granted permission to construct a tem-
<br />porary walkway at 112 Wiest Jefferson Boulevard for work being done at the National Bank
<br />and Trust Company. Permission was granted or, condition that they adhere to the followin
<br />schedule Start of *ork on the 15th day of October, 1951; Bulk of excavation (Sunday)
<br />October 21, 1951; No vork on the 2?th day of October, 1951; and No Work on the 24th day
<br />of November, 1951.
<br />There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was adjourned
<br />at 11:00 a.m.
