<br />The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of South Bend, Indiana, hereby cer-
<br />tifies as follows:
<br />• That there is a contract, dated July 9, 1951, by and between the City of South Bend,
<br />Indiana, and the Reed Construction Company, Mishawaka, Indiana, for the construction by
<br />said,Reed Construction Company of a Class "C" Cement Concrete Pavement on WILBER STREET
<br />from the north line of Fassnacht Avenue to the southerly line of LaPorte Avenue and that
<br />the final amount of the contract is $9,322.60.

<br />That said Reed Construction Company has completed the construction of said improve-
<br />ment according to the terms of said contract and that eighty-five (85) per cent of the f
<br />final amount of said contract is $7,924.21. That said Contractors will be entitled to
<br />receive the said eighty-five (85) per cent or $7,924.21, either in cash or street improve
<br />ment bonds to be hereinafter collected or issued by the City of South Bend, Indiana, in
<br />the manner provided by law. IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Board of Public Works and Safety
<br />of the City of South Bend, Indiana, has issued this Certificate on this loth day of Sep-
<br />tember, 1951.

<br />IN THE MATTER relating to the improvement made under Xmprovement Resolution No. 2665
<br />1951, and the plans and specifications therefor comes now Virgil H. Reed who being; duly
<br />sworn upon oath deposes and says he is acquainted with the Reed Construction Company,
<br />Mishawaka, Indiana, the party to whom was awarded the contract and who pefformed the work
<br />under Improvement Resolution No. 2665-1951, WILBER STREET PAVEMENT.
<br />That he is familiar with and personally knows the requirements of the plans and spe-
<br />cifications of said improvement resolution and further knows that the said Reed Construe-
<br />tion Company in the performance of said work complied with all the terms and conditions
<br />of said plans and specifications in every par -titular, and that the material used was of
<br />the character, kind, quantity and quality required therein and according to and under
<br />the direction of the Board of Public Works and Safety.

<br />under Improvement Resolution No. 2665-1951 has been completed in accordance with the plan
<br />and specifications for this project.
