<br />lUnder no circumstances shall the City of South Bend., Indiana, be or be held responsible
<br />,for any sum or sums due from sand property owner or owners for said work, or for certifi-
<br />cafe or certificates, bond or bonds, issued to said contractor in payment for such work,
<br />except for such moneys as shall have been actually received by the City from assessments
<br />for such improvements,,or such moneys as the City is by said entitled Act and the provi-
<br />sions of all --cts amendatory and supplemental thereto, required to pay. All proceedings
<br />had and. work done in rna1"-ing of said improvements , assessment of properties, collection
<br />of assessments and issuance of bonds therfor, shall be as provided for in said entitled
<br />Act and amendments the-; eto.

<br />The llth day of September, 1951, at the hours of 6:30 otclock PIA -CST is hereby fixed
<br />as the time, and the office of the Board i�? said City as the place, when and where all
<br />persons whose property may be affected by such proposed improvements, may be heard as to
<br />- the necessity for the same, and all petitions and remonstrances received and the Board
<br />will, on said day, decide whether the benefits accruing to abutting and adjacent proper-
<br />i ty, and to the City of South Bend, Indiana, ��ill be equal to or exceed the estimated cost
<br />of said improvements. The Clerk of the Board is hereby ordered to give notice by two week
<br />publications, of the time and place of '_r�ea�ing of this resolution.
