BE RESOLUTION ACCEPTING FINAL ESTIMATE No. _ 70-1 51 South Bend, Indiana August 6, 1951 Be It Resolved, By the Board of Public Worls and Safety of the City of South Bend, Indiana:, that the Final Estimate, and Primary Assessment Roll submitted to the Board by the City Civil Engineer or his duly authorized representative on this 6th day of August 1951, on the impruvement kno-iijirn as the 'NEST ONE-HALF (1/2) OF FELLOWS STREET PAVEMENT CURB AND WALK as described in Improvement Resolution No. 2670-1951 passed by the Board of Public Works and Safety on April 9, 1951 and confirmed by said Board on N1ay 7, 1951, be and the..sam.e is hereby adopted, and the Clerk of this Board is hereby requested to g give notice of the hearing of Special Benefits on said Improvement, as required by See- -tion N.111 or 120 of an Act entitled, "An Act Concerning Municipal Gorporations" approve March 6, 1.905. Noble, Clerk NOTICE OF HEARING SPECIAL BENEFITS ON STREET IMPROVENE.NT o. - -1 South Bend, Indinn.a August 10, 1951 August 17, 1951 Notice is hereby given, that the following Street Improvement has been complztedi The general character of the Improvement, the street, alley or public place on which it has been made, and the terminal points thereof, are as follows: WEST ONE-HALF (112) OF FELLOWS STREET from the south line of Sherwood Avenue to and including a part of James Monroe School Property by constructing a Class "C" - Cememnt Concrete Pavement, Concrete Curb and. Cement Sidewalk.! There is on file in the office of the City Controller of said City an assessment roll with the names of the owners and description of property subject/ to be assessed with the amount of the prima facia assessment, and can be seen in the office of said City Controller. The Board of Public Works and Safety of said City, at the office of the Board in said City, will on the 20th day of August, 1951, at 10:00 otclock AM -CST receive and hear remonstrances against the amounts assessed against their property respectively, on said roll and will determine the question as to whether such lots, or tracts of land, have been or will be benefited by said Improvement to the amounts named on said roll, or is greater or less than that named on said roll or in any sum. Brullner Board of Pubile Works.& Safety STREET DEPARTMENT: Melton Brannan, Street Commissioner, was present and matters pertain ing to E s epar ment zrrere discussed. The Board signed a Contract for the Rental of'one (1) Buffalo Springfield Roller 8 to 10 ton Model KT 16B to be used by the Street Department for the sum of $p225.00 per month. CEMETERY DEPARTMENT: Stanley Leszczynski, Sexton, was present and matters pertaining to is department were iscussed.
