A letter was received from the City Plan Commission indicating that they approve the;
<br />vacation of the alley between Main and Michigan Streets, running north from Navarre,St,,
<br />upon the condition that the architects for the building to be built for Memorial Hospitak,
<br />Inc., provide the several utilities whose facilities are involved in the said alley with;,
<br />sets of blue prints of the proposed construction; and, also, that the City Plan Commissi 'r
<br />and the Board of Public 'Works and Safety be.provided with blue prints showing the propos c
<br />construction which had been approved by the above mentioned utilities.'

<br />RESOVED BY THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIAN A: That it is
<br />desirable to vacate the following: That portion of the alley 127 feet south of Sample,
<br />Street from.High Street East, described as follows:
<br />j Beginning at a point on the East line of High Street 197 feet south of the southeas
<br />corner of the intersection of High -Street and Sample Street, which pointof beginning is
<br />at the intersection of the east line of High Street and the north line of said alley;
<br />thence east along the north line of said alley, and parallel to the south line of Sample
<br />Street, a.,distance of 148.72 feet; thence southeast a distance of 19.8 feet to a point o:
<br />the south line of said alley, which point is 141 feet south of the south line of Sample
<br />Street and 162.71 feet east of the east line of High Street; thence west along the south
