The general character of the improvement, the street, alley or public place on which it has been made, and the terminal points thereof, are as follows: ALBERT STREET from the south) • line of Ford Street to the north line of Sample Street with a Class "C" �"e 'l - Cement i Concrete pavement. i There is on file in the office of the City Controller of said City an assessment roll with the names of ,the owners and.description of property subject to be assessed with the amount of the prima facia assessment, and can be seen in the office of said City Con- troller. The Board of Public Works and Safety of said Ctty, at the office of the Board in said. City, will on the 25th day of June, 1951, at 9:00 o1clock AM -CST receive and hear remon- strances against the amounts assessed against their prolsrty respectively, on said roll ari will determine the question as to whether such lots or tracts of land, have been or will • be benefited by said improvement to the amounts named on said roll, or is greater or less than that named on said roll or in any sum. Noble, Clerk BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS & SAFETY AWARDING CONTRACTS IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTIONS Nos. 2661, 8663o 2668, 2669 & 2670 - 1951 i • South Bend, Indiana Ij June 11, 1951 II After due investigation of all bids and being duly advised on the premises, the Boar of Public Works and Safety decides that the bids of the Reed Construction Company for the construction of the improvements -known as ALLEY BETWEEN ALTGELD AND VICTORIA STREETS pavement improvement according to Improvement Resolution No. 2661, 1951 is the lowest and best bid and that the contract to do said work be awarded to the Reed Construction Company, said bid being as follows: Item 1-1 Class "C" Type 1 - Cement Concrete pavement @ 3.25per sq. yd. 1' • Item 2-1 Excavation @ 11-30 per cu. yd.
