STREET DEPARTMENT: Melton 0. Brannan, Street Commissioner, was present and matters per- <br />taining to his department were discussed. <br />CEMETERY DEPARTMENT: Stanley Leszczynski, Sexton, was present and matters pertaining to <br />his department were discussed. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was adjourned <br />at 11:15 a.m. <br />ATTEST: , I <br />VV-k <br />BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS & SAFETY I' <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br />May 31, 1951 <br />A Special Meeting of the Board of Public Works was held Thursday, May 31, 1951 at <br />6:30 P.M., C.S.T. Mr. Baer was absent. The meeting was called for the purpose of public <br />hearings on the following Improvement Resolutions: <br />No. 2665 WILBER STREET from the north line of Fassracht Avenue to the southerly <br />line of LaPorte Avenue <br />No. 2666 KENMORE STREET from the north line of Western Avenue to the south line <br />of Linden Avenue <br />No. 2667 WELLINGTON STREET from the north line of Western Avnue to the south lime <br />of Linden Avenue.. <br />Property owners whose property is effected by the above resolutionswill have a ten <br />(10) day period of which to file remonstrances against the improvement resolutions. <br />ATTEST: <br />June 4, 1951 <br />BOARD OF PUSLIC WORKS & SAFETY <br />A regular meeting of the Board of Public Works was held on Monday, June 4, 1951 at <br />10:00 a.m. All members were present. Minutes of the previous meeting were read and ap- <br />proved. Salary claims in the amount of $29,117.10 were approved and ordered paid. Gish; Dick and Dale —Holcomb; Alvin Linn; and Ernst Sigamund Petzke. <br />A petition was received asking for the improvement of VINE STREET from 26th Street <br />to 27th Street by the ®nstruction of a pavement. This was referred to the city engineer. <br />?; A petition was received asking for the improvement of SHERIDAN STREET from Western <br />Avenue to Sample Street by the construction of a pavement.
