Dhaeze ; D. G. Gallacher <br />d/b/a Unique Distributing Company; <br />Herman F. <br />• <br />''Glaser, Jr.; and Forest Guise. <br />A Certificate of Insurance was filed <br />by Rieth Riley Construction Company <br />to cover <br />work done on North Main Street. <br />A petition was received requesting the vacation of the first alley north <br />of Huron <br />j Street from Warren Street to Carlisle Street. This was referred to the City Plan Com- <br />I mission for investigation and report. <br />A petition was received J. Chester Allen, representing Better Homes of South Bend <br />!Incorporated, requesting construction of sidewalks under the Barrett Law Plan. <br />This was <br />• <br />;referred to the City Engineerts office. <br />VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 2671 <br />Raymond S. Andrysiak, City Engineer, filed primary assessment roll showing the awar <br />of damages and the assessments of benefits in the matter of the vacation of THAT PART OF <br />EAST MARION STREET BOUNDED AS FOLLOWS: Beginning at a point 201 feet east of the north- <br />west corner of Lot 130 in the original plat of South Bend; thence north 15 feet; thence <br />east parallel to the south line of Marion Street to the west line of the St. Joseph Rive <br />`thence southwest c l� tt tq �h f%L ep4 River to the south line of Ma <br />IStreet; 3 28 Te ore o i s Oe'#1 o§ be n baid 15 foot strip of East Ma <br />Street being that part of said street lying north of the northproperty line of Lot 118 <br />• in the Original Plat of South Bend and a part of vacated St. Joseph Street immediately <br />;west thereof under Vacation Resolution No. 2671. <br />In the above named assessment roll, the Board hereby orders that it will meet in <br />the City Hall at 10:00 A.M., C.S.T., on the lath day of June, 1951, for the purpose of <br />hearing and receiving remonstrances from all persons interested in or affected by said <br />cation, and the Board further orders that notice of said hearing, together with the am <br />of damages awarded and benefits assessed be addressed to the property owners by public] <br />same on the 18th day of May, and on the 25th day of May, 1951, in the South Bend Daily <br />Tribune and the Tri-County News. <br />
