Andrysiak, City Engineer, filed primary assessment roll showing the awards of ' <br />damages and the assessments of benefits in the matter of the vacation of the first alley <br />south of Ford Street from Grant Street to the east line of north and south alley AND from <br />;,the west line of north and south alley to Marren Street under Vacation Resolution No. 265. <br />In the above named assessment roll, the Board hereby orders that it will meet in the • <br />JCity Hall at 11;00'a.m., on the 13th day of November for the purpose of hearing and re- <br />ceiving remonstrances from all persons interested iri or affected by said vacation, and <br />the Board further orders that notice of said hearing, together with the amount of damages <br />.'awarded and benefits assessed be addressed to the property owners by publishing same on <br />! the 27th day of October and the 3rd day of November, 1950, in the South Bend Daily'Trib <br />and the Weekly Mirror Press, <br />ENGINEER'S REPORT <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />• <br />The Board of Public Works & Safety October 23, 1950 <br />City of South Bend, Indiana <br />Gentlemen. - <br />In the matter of the Bids for the improvement of ALIE Y BET5--PEN CHAPIN STREET AND <br />KENDALL STREET from the south line of Dubail Street to the south line of Bruce Street in <br />accordance with Improvement Resolution No. 2648, 1950, �a ssed by this Board on August 14, <br />1950, and confirmed by this Board on September 5, 1950. We hereby report that we have <br />I examined the several Bids submitted to the Board on October 16, 1950 and find that the <br />Rieth-Riley Construction Company has the lowest and best bid for a Class "C" Type 1, Ce- <br />ment Concrete Pavement. <br />I • <br />We recommend that the kind of pavement placed on the above Street be a Class "C" <br />Type 1 - Cement Concrete Pavement. <br />Reppectfully Submitted, <br />WILBUR H.
