<br />The Board approved the installation of traffic signals at the following locations: I'
<br />3-Lens Curb Type Signals at Corby, Eddy and South Bend Avenue; and, at Johnson and Lincoln -
<br />way lNest.
<br />The Board approved the installation of stop signs at the following locations:
<br />Madison Street at Williams Street, southeast corner
<br />Donald Street at Kendall Street, both sides
<br />Lindsey Avenue at Blaine Avenue, northeast corner
<br />Arthur Street at Bissell Street, both sides
<br />A peition was received asking for the installation of a traffic signal at Miami and
<br />Calvert Streets. Mr. Miller informed the Board that the appropriation for traffic sig-
<br />nal equipment had been exhausted and the Board directed that the underground wiring be
<br />completed immediately and the traffic signal be installed early next year.
<br />TAXI CABS: The Board granted permission to the American Cab Company to establish two tax:
<br />cab stands in front of 427-4272 South Chapin Street, upon the recommendation of the traf-
<br />fic engineer and contingent upon the fulfilment of all requirements contained in the Taxi
<br />Cab Ordinance.
