<br />September 18, 1950 at the hour of 10:00 o'clock AM -CST is hereby fixed as the time, and
<br />the office of the Board of Public Works and Safeby in the City Hall of this City, as the
<br />place, when and where the Board of Public %'orks and Safety will open and consider bids k
<br />for:the above named improvements, provided all bids for the construction of said work shall
<br />be filed in the =office of the Clerk of this Board before 10:00 o'clock AM -CST of said day:
<br />• Each bidder for said work shall enclose with his bid a certified check, payable to the
<br />(Treasurer of this City in the sum of two and one-half (22) per cent of the amount of his
<br />,bid, or a bid bond for two and one-half (2�_) per cent of the amount of his bid, to insure':
<br />the execution of this contract, if said work is awarded to him.
<br />The clerk of this Board is hereby ordered, to give notice by two (2) weekly publica-
<br />tions of the time and place, when and where bids will be received, opened and considered
<br />for the construction of said work. Said Clerk shall state in said notices, that each
<br />bidder shall enclose with his bid a certified check or bid bond for above name-d amount,
<br />to insure the execution of this contract.

<br />Notice is hereby given, that the Board of Public�Works and Safety of the. City of
<br />South Bend, Indiana, on the 18th day of September, 1950 at the hour of 10z00 AM -CST at th
<br />office of the Board, in the City Hall, in said City will open and consider sealed bids,
<br />and designate by preliminary order the kind of pavements to be used for the following
<br />(described Street Improvements, as provided for in Improvement Resolutions Numbers 2642,
<br />2644, 2645, 2646, 2647, 2648 and 2652, 1950, duly passed by said Board on August 14, 1950
<br />and confirmed September 5, 1950, to wit:
<br />GRANDVIEW COURT from the east line of Harrison Avenue to the west line of Cottage Grove
<br />Avenue, AND
<br />�ROnINSON STREET from the south line of Linolnway East to the north line of Calvert Street

<br />RUSH STREET from the south line of Dayton Street to the north line of Calvert Street, AND
<br />ALLEY BETVVEEN MICHIGAN AND TvAIN STREETS from the south line of Stull Street to the north

<br />constructing Class 110 Pavements.
<br />Provided, all bids for the construction of said work,.shall be filed in the office
<br />of -the Clerk of the Board of Public Works and,Safety of said City before 10:00 o'clock
<br />AM -CST of said day.
<br />Each bidder for said work shall enclose vdth his bid a Certified Check payable to th
<br />Treasurer of said City, in the sum of two and one-half (12) per cent of the amount of his
<br />bid or a bid bond for two and one-half (22) per cent of the amount of his bid, to insure
<br />• the execution of Contract, if said work is awarded to him.
<br />Detailed plans and specifications for said improvements are on file in the office of
<br />the Board of Public Works and Safety.
<br />The Board of Public Works and Safety reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
