<br />PARKING LOTS: The South Bend Parking'Company, Incorporated, filed a notice of price than
<br />at Lot No. 141 430 South Michigan Street.
<br />ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT: Contractor's Bonds were q)proved and ordered filed for Joseph
<br />Kuharic and Robert R. Nelson, d/b/a K & K Concrete Block & Excavating Company; Harry H.
<br />Verkler; and Carl J. Reinke and Son.
<br />An Excavation Bond for Joseph Kuharic & Robert R. Nelson, d/b/a K & K Concrete Bloc
<br />& Excavating Company in the amount of $5,000.00 was approved and ordered filed.
<br />Excavation Bonds in the amount of $1,000.00 were approved and ordered filed for
<br />George E. Sibley Company; and Alex R. Niezgodski d/b/a Niezgodski Brothers Plumbing Com-
<br />pany.
<br />Reverend ln:illian H. Harris representing the Pilgrim Baptist Church, owner of proper-
<br />ty at 120 North Birdsell Street appeared before the Board as per request. Reverend Harri
<br />was notified that he must have the property as mentioned cleared of its occupance by
<br />August 28, and was asked to report to the Board at that meeting.
<br />A letter was received from the City Plan Commission indicating that they do not reco
<br />mend the vacation of the alley north of Longley Street from Johnson Street to the first
<br />alley east of Johnson and the first alley north of Longley from Brookfield to the first
<br />alley west of Brookfield. The Clerk of the Board was directed to so notify the petitioners,,
<br />A petition was received asking for the vacation of the alley north of Western Avenue
<br />from Franklin to the west line of the alley west of Lafayette Boulevard. This "`W`as
<br />refereed to the City Engineer.
<br />The Board approved plans for Miami Hills Addition.
