125 NOTICE TO PROPERTY OWNERS Nos. 2626., 26279 26339 26349 2637 & 2638 1950 South Bend, Indiana a June 15, 1950 June 22, 1950 To Whom It May Concern: :a • Notice is hereby given by the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of South Bend, Indiana that it is deemed necessary to make the following described public improve- jments in the City of South Bend, Indiana, authorized by the following numbered Improve- Iment Resolutions, passed by said Board on the 12th day of June, 1950. Improvement Resolution No. 2626-1950, for the improvement of MCKINLEY AVENUE from the east Mine of Eddy Street to the west line of Walsh Street, AND 0 • • • 0 Improvement Resolution No. 2627-1950, for the improvement of POPLAR STREET from the west line of Cleveland Avenue to the east line of the alley west of Cleveland Avenue, AND Improvement Resolution No. 2633-1950, for the improvement of THIRTY-FOURTH STREET .from the south line of Mishawaka Avenue to the north line of North Side Boulevard, AND Improvement Resolution No. 2634-1950, for the improvement of ALLEY BETWEEN CALVERT STREET'! AND DONALD STREET from the east line of Scott Street to the west line of Taylor; .ALLEY BETWEEN SCOTT STREET AND TAYLOR STREET from the north line of Donald Street to the south ;line of the alley south of Calvert Street, AND Improvement Resolution No. 2637-1950, for the improvement of THIRTY-THIRD STREET from the` ,south line of� Mishawaka .Avenue to the south line of Pleasant Street, AND `.Improvement Resolution No. 2638-1950, for the improvement of KENDALL STREET from the north ;line of Donald Street to the south line of Calvert Street by constructing Class "C" Pave- 1 rents. All work done in the making of said described public improvements shall be. in accord �a.nce with the terms and conditions of Improvement Resolutions Nos. 2626, 2627, 2633, 26341 2637 and 2638 - 1950, adopted by the Board of Public Works and Safety on the above named !day, and the Profiles, Drawings, Plans, General_ Details, Specifications and Estimates to be adopted by the Board of Public Works and Safety of such City, upon the final adoption of said Resolutions and placed on file in the office of the Department of Engineering of said City. The Board of Public Works and Safety will meet -in its office in the City Hall on the, 6th day of July, 1950 at the hour of 6:30 o'clock PM -CST for the purpose of hearing and !considering all remonstrances, which may have been filed or which may be presented, and will hear all persons interested or whose property is affected by said proposed improvements and will decide whether the benefit that will accrue to the property, abutting and adja- cent to the proposed improvements and to said City, will be equal to or exceed the esti- mated cost of the proposed improvements as estimated by the City Civil engineer. Noble, Clerk BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS & SAF]TY The Board approved plans for paving WASHIRGTON STREET from Gladstone Avenue to the alley east of Sheridan Avenue; for paving ALBERT STREET from Washington Street to Linden Avenue; for paving Greenview .Avenue fr-om Sample Street to Lombardy Drive; and, for paving; WELLIA:GTON STREET from Washington to Linden Avenue for the Colpaert Realty Company. The Board approved plans and detailed drawings for a storm sewer on Lombardy Drive as shown on Sheets No. 1 to 6 for Garden Homes, Incorporated. STREET DEPARTI,.,ENT:, Mr. Melton Brannan, Street Commissioner was present and matters per- taining to his Department were discussed. Permission was granted to Our Lady of Hungary Church to close Chapin Street from Bruce Street to Calvert Street from June 12 to 17, inclusive, for the purpose of holding a Street Festival. i PARKING METER'DEPART142NT: Mr. Maurice C. Vennet, .Auditor, presented his report for the week ending June 10, 1950 CEMETERY DEPARTMENT: Mr. Stanley Leszczynski, Sexton, was present and matters pertaining', to his Department were discussed.
