122 and designate by preliminary order the kind of pavements to be used, for the following described Street Improvements, as provided for in Improvement Resolution Number 2624, 1950 duly passed by said Board on May 81 1950 and confirmed on June 12, 1950, to wit: CHICAGO STREET from the south line of Western .Avenue to the north line of Ford Street by constructing a Class "C" Pavement, AND Improvement Resolution Number 2629, 1950 duly passed by said Board on May 8, 1950 and confirmed on June 12, 1950 to wit: V.ASSAR .AVENUE from the east line of Wilber Street to the west line of Lawndale .Avenue by constructing a Class "C" pavement. Provided, all bids for the construction of said work, shall be filed in the office of the Clerk of the Board of Public Works and Safety of said City before 10:00 o'clock A14-CST of said day. Each bidder for said work shall enclose with his bid a Certified Check payable to the Treasurer of said City, in the sum of two and one-half (21) of his bid or a bid bond for two and one-half 2i)er 2 Per cent of the amount insure the execution of Contract, if said work sawardedntoohimhe amount of his bid, to Detailed plans and specifications for said improvements are on file in the office of the Board of Public Works and Safety. IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION RESCINDED No. 2625, 1950 South Bend, Indiana June 12, 1950 Department of Public Works and Safety For the improvement of KENMORE STREET from the south line of Western Avenue to the north line of Ford Street under Improvement Resolution No. 2625-19501 adopted May 8, 19 by constructing a. Class "C" Pavement. After hearing all persons interested who appeared at the public hearing for said improvement held on the 31st day of May, 1950 and having received a written remonstrance on or before June 12, 1950 , said date being the final day on which a remonstrance may be,,made agalinst said improvement, and said written remonstrance bearing the signatures liable for assessment for said pavement improvement, therefore of 52 per cent or more of the resident property owners on said Kenmore Street, who may b BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of South Bend, India: that Improvement Resolution No. 2625-1950, duly passed by this Board on May 8, 1950 for the pavement improvement on Kenmore Street, be and the same in all things is rescinded and the improvement is hereby ordered not made.
