<br />VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 2622
<br />This being the date set, hearing was had on the resolution heretofore gad:opted by j
<br />the Board of Public Works for the vacation of the alley east of Eddy Street from Chalfant;
<br />• Street to Campau Street and the alley north of Chalfant Street from Eddy Street to Arthur,
<br />Street under vacation resolution No. 2622. The Clerk of the Board having shown sufficienil
<br />proofs of publication and no remonstrators having appeared and no written remonstrances
<br />having been filed with the Clerk, it was moved, seconded and unanimously carried that the
<br />said resolution be finally adopted and the said alley be vacated. The Engineering Depart',
<br />ment is directed to prepare an assessment roll covering the assessment of benefits and th,
<br />award of damages :to tree surrounding propertiQ.s.
<br />Mr. R. S. Andrysiak, City Engineer, filed primary assessment ro11 showing the awards
<br />of,damages and the assessment of benefits in,the matter of the vacation of the alley east;
<br />of ,Eddy Street from Chalfant Street to Campa4 Street and the alley north of Chalfant
<br />Street from Eddy Street to Arthur Street under Vacation Resolution No. 2622. j

<br />expressly waives notice Qf proceedings for the assessment of benefits and damages pertain'
<br />jing to the above designated proceedings for the vacation of alley.running north and south;
<br />,from East Campeau Street to East Chalfant Sheet and vacation of alley running east and
<br />;west from North Arthur Street to North Eddy Street, and promises promptly to pay.wha.tever,
<br />amount may be justly assessed against it in such proceedings, including the costs of adve

<br />No remonstrators appearing and no written remonstrances having been filed, the BOARD
<br />therefore, finds that the several lots and parcels of land have been benefited and damage
<br />in the amounts shown on said roll. The Board, therefore, decided to take final action on
<br />said assessment roll and declares same on all things ratified, confirmed and approved wit
<br />out modification, and the proceedings closed, and the alley vacated upon receipt of the
<br />amount of benefit assessments from the various property owners so benefited and all pro-
<br />ceedings had with reference to said alley vacation are hereby sustained.
<br />PARKING METER DEPARTMENT: Mr. Maurice C. Vennet, Auditor, presented his report for the
<br />week ending March �+, 1950.
<br />There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was adjourned
