Mr. Miller reported that the following stop signs had been installed:. Keller Street at Wilber Street, both sides-. Humboldt Street at Kaley Street, both sides. O'Brien Street at Elwood Avenue, both sides. Ohio Street at Carroll Street, both sides. Rose Street at Sherman Street, both sides. Roosevelt Street at Sherman Street, both sides. ,Beale Street at Sherman Street, both sides. ,Bryan Street at Sherman Street, bath sides. Dunham Street at Dundee Street, both sides. Culver Street at Sherman Street, southwest corner. Greenlawn Avenue at Mishawaka Avenue, both sides. Dubail Avenue at Scott Street, both sides. Pennsylvania Ave at Marrietta Street, both sides. Keasey Street at Marrietta Street, both sides. Huron Street at Liberty Street, both sides. Kentucky Street at Ford Street, both sides. Ford Street at Sheridan Avenue, both sides. TAXI CABS: Mr. Bert Liss representing the South Bend Cab Company and the Veterans Cab Company appeared before the Board in response to letters sent to the Cab Companies. He stated that the Veterans Cab Company had reduced the number of cabs in service and therefore does not require two cab stands in front of the Odd Fellow's Building. The Board therefore directed that the southernmost parking space allotted to the Veterans Cab Company be vacated and the parking space thereupon be metered and returned to the public's use. Mr. Liss also stated that to his knowledge taxi cabs belonging to the South Bend Cab Company had never parked in the space allotted to the Veterans Cab Co- mpany, but that he would issue directions to his men on that subject. RAIL ROADS: An officer's report was presented to the Board concerning the blocking.of the inter section of Prairie Avenue and Kemble Street by a New York Central train for a period of twenty-five minutes. The Board directed that a letter be sent to Mr. G. A. Farabaugh, 301 St. Joseph Bank Building, asking him to call the above natter to the attention of the New York Central Railroad Company so that further situations of this type :night be avoided. E1IGINEERING D.EPz-!',TIENT: A Contractor's Bond in the amount of 51,000 was approved and ordered filed for Arthur L. Tatajczak. A letter was received from Max Ein requesting tha Q Fellow's Street be made a throug street from Elting Avenue to Southmore Heights. This matter will be discussed by the City Engineer and the Traffic Engineer. DEDICATION 1'1iUE'REAS, a plat with dedications of streets and alleys indicated thereon is now presented to the Board to be known as Section 2 of Bellville Unit "A", an addition to South Bend, Indiana, and
