He stated <br />that the Veterans Cab Company had reduced the number of cabs in service and therefore <br />does not require two cab stands in front of the Odd Fellow's Building. The Board <br />therefore directed that the southernmost parking space allotted to the Veterans Cab <br />Company be vacated and the parking space thereupon be metered and returned to the <br />public's use. Mr. Liss also stated that to his knowledge taxi cabs belonging to the <br />South Bend Cab Company had never parked in the space allotted to the Veterans Cab Co- <br />mpany, but that he would issue directions to his men on that subject. <br />RAIL ROADS: <br />An officer's report was presented to the Board concerning the blocking.of the inter <br />section of Prairie Avenue and Kemble Street by a New York Central train for a period of <br />twenty-five minutes. The Board directed that a letter be sent to Mr. G. A. Farabaugh, <br />301 St. Joseph Bank Building, asking him to call the above natter to the attention of <br />the New York Central Railroad Company so that further situations of this type :night be <br />avoided. <br />E1IGINEERING D.EPz-!',TIENT: <br />A Contractor's Bond in the amount of 51,000 was approved and ordered filed for <br />Arthur L. Tatajczak. <br />A letter was received from Max Ein requesting tha Q Fellow's Street be made a throug <br />street from Elting Avenue to Southmore Heights. This matter will be discussed by the <br />City Engineer and the Traffic Engineer. <br />DEDICATION <br />1'1iUE'REAS, a plat with dedications of streets and alleys indicated thereon is now <br />presented to the Board to be known as Section 2 of Bellville Unit "A", an addition to <br />South Bend, Indiana, and <br />
