585 <br />A petition was received fro Whitcomb & Keller, Inc., asking for the installation of <br />a sewer on Gertrude Street from Ewing Avenue south a distance of 1300 feet under the <br />provision of Barrett Law. This was referred to the City Engineer. <br />A petition was received asking for the vacation of the following streets and <br />alleys`, to -wit: 1. The first East-West alley South of Linden Avenue from Falcon Street <br />Westward to the center line of Section 9; 2. The first East-West alley North of Colfax <br />Avenue from Falcon Street Westward to the center line of Section 9; 3. Colfax Avenue <br />• from Falcon Street Westward to the center line of Section 9; 4. The first East -West - <br />alley South of Colfax Avenue from Falcon Street Westward to the center line of Section 9; <br />5. The first East-West alley South of Washington Street from Kaley Street Westward to <br />the center line of Section 9; The first East-West alley South of Jefferson Street from <br />IBendix Street Westward to the center line of Section 9. <br />Section 9 as referred to above is Section 9 of T.37 N., R.2 E. of the 2nd P. M. <br />This petition was referred to the City Plan Committee for investigation and report. <br />II �- <br />A petition containing 14 names was received petitioning against the erection of an <br />Old People's Home in the 1000 block of Notre Dame Avenue.
