As this is a. State Highway the <br />petition was ref Bred to Mr. Miller who will in turn refer it to the State Highway Com- <br />mission. <br />BUS ROUTES: <br />A petition was filed with the Boa.rd asking for bus service on Lincoln Way' West to <br />the Butternut Road. This was refered to the Northern Indiana Transit, Inc. with a. re- <br />quest of a report from them. <br />ENGINEERING DEPA1TI•21NT: <br />Contractor's Bonds in the amount of 4?1,000 were approved and ordered filed for <br />the Reed Construction Company; John Levandoski; Lionel R. Martin and William Kaman. <br />A petition to pave,an alley between Kemble Avenue and Douglas Street was referred <br />to the City Engineer for inspection and report. <br />VACATIO'tN RESOLUTION IO. 2596 <br />B.ESOLVED BY TIC BOARD OF PUBLIC VIORKS OF TIC' CITY OF SOUTH BLIND, INDIANA: That it <br />is desirable to vacate the following: <br />Part of the Alley west of Vernon Street from Dubail North a distance of One Hundred <br />Fourteen (1141) feet. e <br />The following property may be injuriously effected by such vacation: <br />Lots numbered 14 to 19 and 27 to 33 inclusive, Leer's First addition also <br />Lots Numbered 21, 22 and 23 Lincoln School Addition. <br />. Notice of this resolution will be published on the 5th day of August and on the 12 <br />day of August, 1949 in the South Bend Daily Tribune and the :•Ieekly Mirror. <br />This Board, at its office in the City Hall on the 22nd day of August, 1949 at <br />11:00 A.
