WW IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION, NO. 25867 1949 South Bend, Indiana May 23, 1949 For the improvement of Thirty -First Street under improvement resolution No. 2586, 1949 adopted April 25 1949 from the South Line of Mishawaka Avenue to the North Line of Phasant Street by draining, grading and paving the roadway with a Class "C" Pavement • Types 1 to 5 inclusive.- After hearing all persons interested who appeared and being fully advised tin the premises the Board decides that the benefits to the property liable to be assessed for said improvement are equal to the estimated cost of the same as reported by the City ,Civil Engineer. Therefore Be It Resolved, By the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of South Bend, Indianan that Improvement Resolution No. 2586, 1949, duly passed by this Board on April 25, 194y for the above improvement, be and the same is hereby in all things confirmed hand the improvement is hereby ordered to be made. Noble, Clerk of the Board • j PLANS AND SPECIFICATION& ADOPTED No. 2586, 1949 i South Bend, Indiana May 23, 1949 BE IT RESOLVED, By the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of South Bend, Indiana, that the Profiles, Drawings, Plans, General Details, Specifications and Estim- ates approved by this Board on the 25th day of April, 1949, for the improvement of Thirty -First Street from the South Line of Mishawaka Avenue to the North Line of Pleasant Street by draining, grading and paving the roadway with a Class C Pavement, Types l to • 5 inclusive, be and the same are hereby adopted and ordered placed on file in the office of the Department of Engineering of this Board. • June 8? 1949 at the hour of 10:00 oclock A. M. C. S. T. is hereby fixed as the time, and the office of the Board of Public Works and Safety in the City Hall of this City, as- the place 0hen and where the Board of Public Works and Safety will open and consider bids for the above named improvement, provided all bids for the construction of said works shall be filed in the office of the Clerk of this Board before 10:00 A.M.C.S.T. of said day. Each bidder for said work shall enclose with his bid a certified check, pa able to the Treasurer of this City in the sum of two and one-half t22) per cent of the amount of his bid or a bid bond for two and one-half (22) per cent of the amount of his bid to insure the execution of this contract, if said work is awarded to him. The Clerk of this Board is hereby ordered to give notice by two weekly publications of the time and place, when and where bids will be received, opened and considered for the construction of said work. Said Clerk shall state in said notices, that each bidder shall enclose with his bid a certified check or bid bond for above named amount, to in- sure the execution of this contract. Freda G.
