Noble, Clerk of the Board .7 Insert in South Bend Tribune & Mirror on Friday May 27, 1949 and Friday, June 3, 1949 NOTICE OF HEARING SPECIAL BENEFITS ON STREET IMPROVEMENT No. 2574, 1948 South Bend, Indiana May 27, 1949 LLO June 3, 1947 MEOW Notice is hereby given, that the following Street Improvement has been completed. The general character of the Improvement, the street, alley, or public place on which it has been made, and the terminal points thereof, are as follows: Kosciuszko Street . from north line of Sample Street to the South line of Dunham Street, by draining, grad and paving the roadway with a Class "C" Type One (1) Pavement. There is on file in the office of the City Controller of said City an assessment roll with the names of the owners and description of property subject to be assessed wi the amount of the prima facia assessment, and can be seen in the office of said City Controller. The Board of Public Works and Safety of said City, at the office of the Board in said City, will on the 6th day of June, 19'9 at 10:00 A. M. C..S.T. receive and hear remon- strances against the amounts assessed against their property respectively, on said roll, and will determine the question as to whether such lots, or tracts of land, h,&*6 been . for will be benefited by said Improvement to the amounts named on said roll, or is greate �or less than that named on said roll or in any sum. Brannon, Superintendent was present and matters per- aining to his department were discussed. !j A letter was received from Leslie C. Baumgartner, 2613 Birch Way, offering the use of !a lot at the South West Corner of Washington and Wellington Streets to be used as'a • 'childrents playground for a period of 1 year. The Board directed that the Street Depar ;iment be authorized to grade said street. i� CEMETERY'DEPARTMENT: Mr. Stanley Sesczcynski, Sexton, was present and matters pertain ing to his department were discussed.
