PARKING GGTIHR DEPARTIiEI' T: Fir. Maurice Vennet, , Auditor, presented his report for the weekending January 15, 19L9. ETTGIIM�:G,RII,,,G DEPART EDT: A letter was received From the Green Arroer Parking, Inc. s reporting their Ctla.ngc in prices for pa.r%ink cars. This wa.s ordered filed. Mr. Van Gates representinrrr the L. 0. Gates Chevrolet Conipany, 333 South LaFayette Boulevard' appeared before the ?oard to ask permission to erect a. canvas canopy over the sidewalk at their place of business from January 21st to 28th inclusive. Permission .,ra s granted. A peti ;ion was received asking for a change in. the name of Dorothy Street, making it Dorothy Boulevard. This ti'.�a s referred to the Park Dcpartrient. VACATIOi', L SOLUTI01; 1',TO. 2583 This being the fate set, hearing t,ras held on the assessment roll shoving the award of damages and the assessment of benefits in the matter of the vacation of Victoria II Street- from Twyckenham Drive to York Road under Vacation esolution No. 2583. ,I , In the above named assessment roll_ no remonstrators appeared and no written re- monstrances 1rere filed. The Clerk of the hoard submitted proofs of publication of notices and,samc were found sufficient, and the Board, therefore, finds that the several lots and parcels of land have been benefitted and damaged in the amounts shown on said roll. The Board., therefore, decides to take final action on said assessment roll and declares sarie in all things ra.tified� confirmed and approved -without modification and +the proceedings closed, and the street vacated, upon receipt of the amount of benefit assessments from the various property owners so benefited and all proceedings had with f reference to said street vacation are hereby sustained. 5TRE1�T DEPARTI,2NT: Mr. Melton 0.
