384 <br />Vacation Resolution No..2565 <br />This being the date set, hearing -ras had on the resolution heretofore adopted by <br />the Board of Public Works for the vacation of the second alley West of Main Street from <br />Woodssde Street to the South line of the alley North of Woodside Street and the alley <br />North of Woodside Street from the ',,Test line of the first alley West of Plain Street to <br />the,,Pennsylvania. Railroad right of way under Vacation Resolution,No. 2565. The Clerk of <br />Board having shown sufficient proofs of publication and no remonstrators having appeared <br />and,no written remonstrances having been filed with the Clerk, it was moved, seconded and <br />unanimously carried that the sa.1d resolution be finally adopted and the said alleys be <br />vacated. The Engineering Department is directed to prepare an assessment roll showing th <br />assessment of benefits and the award of damages to the surrounding properties, <br />Vacation.Resolution No. 2566 <br />This being the date set, hearing was had on the resolution her'etofore adopted by <br />thertBoard of Public Works for the vacation of the alley North of Elwood Avenue from Elmer <br />Street West to the East line of the alley West of Elmer street under Vacation Resolution <br />No. ,2566. The Clerk of the Board having shown sufficient proofs of publication and no <br />remonstrators having appeared and no written remonstrances having been filed with the <br />C1erkq it was moved, seconded and unanimously carried that the said resolution be finally. <br />adopted and the said alley be vacated. The Engineering Departr_ient.is directed to prepare' <br />do assessment roll showing the assessment of benefits and the award of damages to the <br />surrounding properties. <br />STREET DEPARTMENT: Mr. Melton 0. Branna%}, Street Commissionerwas present and matters <br />pertaining to his department were discussed. s <br />Mr. John Pinkowski,,a street department employee, came before the Board to inform <br />them of a physical condition resoluting from an old injury sustained while working in <br />the Street Department. No action was taken. <br />A letter was presented) from I4r.
