ECM <br />WVMethod <br />These values were determined through discussions with the Customer and are <br />agreed to by all parties. <br />Summary: Flow rates, determined as previously described, usage rates, as set forth In <br />in the energy calculation section and the savings calculations, as set forth in the energy <br />calculation section, shall be used to determine savings for the entire guarantee period. <br />Gas or electric savings associated with the reduction in water consumption shah be <br />stipulated. <br />Agreed Upon savings are recommended and shall be utilized for this ECM. The <br />ECM 5: Roof <br />savings amount relative to the cost of M&V activities does not justify other methods. <br />ECM 6. <br />There are no savings directly associated with this ECM; therefore no M&V is required. <br />Emergency <br />Power Study <br />ECM 7: <br />There are no savings directly associated with this ECM; therefore no M&V is required. <br />Water <br />Infiltration <br />Stud <br />ECM S: Jail <br />There are no savings directly associated with this ECM; therefore no M&V is required. <br />Moisture <br />Intrusion <br />Stud <br />Note: The savings calculations for all ECMs are included in the contract in Attachment G and are <br />stipulated. Only the parameters specified in the M&V plan outlined above are measured. <br />Owner Role and Responsibilities —All EOM's: <br />• Operatlons: Customer shall operate the equipment installed hereunder in accordance <br />with the manufacturers' recommendations and any supplemental procedures supplied to <br />Customer by Ameresco. The recommended maintenance procedures and operating <br />parameters will be supplied to the Customer as part of the close-out documentation. This <br />includes heating hot water supply temperatures, hot water supply reset schedule (based <br />on outside air temperature), domestic hot water supply temperatures, etc. <br />• Maintenance: Customer shall, at its expense, repair, operate, and maintain the Property <br />in good working order during the Term. Following the date of Substantial Completion of <br />an ECM, Customer shall, at its expense, repair and maintain (€) the equipment and all <br />other components which comprise the ECM and (il) all other equipment which is attached <br />thereto and/or Is Integral to the proper functioning of the ECM. Maintenance also refers <br />to performing required maintenance of ancillary systems such as (but not limited to) <br />building heating loops, flushing I cleaning of building primary and secondary heating <br />loops, cleaning of traps / strainers I filters, etc. The Customer is responsible for <br />maintaining the proper chemical treatment (including pH level) of the systems. <br />• Malfunctions: Customer shall notify Ameresco Immediately in the event of any <br />malfunction in the operation of the ECMs or the equipment installed hereunder. <br />• Protection of ECM: Except in the case of emergency, Customer shall not remove, move, <br />alter, turn off, or otherwise significantly affect the operation of the equipment installed <br />hereunder or the operation of the ECMs, or any individual part thereof, without the prior <br />written approval of Ameresco, which approval shall not be unreasonably withheld. After <br />receiving Ameresco's written approval, Customer shall proceed as instructed. Customer <br />shall act reasonably to protect the ECMs from damage or Injury, if, due to an emergency, <br />it is not reasonable to notify Ameresco before acting. Customer agrees to protect and <br />preserve the facility envelope and the operating condition of all ECMs, mechanical <br />systems, and other energy consuming systems located on the Property. <br />• Measurement System: Customer shall not alter, move, modify, or otherwise change the <br />measurement and verification system or any component thereof without the prior written <br />Confidential & Proprietary Infonnation of Ameresco, Inc. <br />Page 53 <br />
