All members were present. <br />The Board met for the purpose of discussing taxi -cab stands petitioned for by The <br />Veterans Cab Company and the A & A Flash Cabs. <br />It was agreed to direct Mr. -Ernest Miller to establish a two cab stand at the <br />Northwest corner of Colfax and Michigan Streets, on Colfax Avenue, to be allotted to <br />the A & A Flash Cab Company and also a two cab stand on South Main Street directly 'I <br />in front of 114 South Main Street for the Veterans Cab Company. These stands were <br />allotted on a temporary basis only. <br />BUSSES: A letter was sent to the Northern Indiana Transit, Inc. requesting them to <br />comply promptly with the recommendations contained in a report dated February 12, 1948 <br />made by Ernest H. Miller and Leslie Williams with reference to the routing of busses.
