296 PARKING LOTS: The Green Arrow Parking Lot Corporation filed a statement of charges made on al=of their parking lots. TRAFFIC DEPARTTNT: Letters were received from Mr. and Mrs. jqilliam Hege and Mr. Harry E. Southard re a ive to traffic controls at Bronson and Lincoln ?'Jay East and Miami. and Lincoln may East respectively. The Board directed that letters be sent to them indica- ting that Lincoln way East is Lander the Jurisdiction of the Indiana State Highway Comm- ission and that the Traffic Engineer would forward their letters to the said State allighway Commission. ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT: An Excavation bond -in the amount of $11,000,00 was approved and ordered i e or. John J. DeGrove. An application to drive a well on city property to service the air-conditioning system for, Bentonts new store was denied as in previous cases of this nature. No private installations are allowed on public property. STREET DEPARTMENT: Mr. Casimer,Balka, Street C6muissioner, ,was present and matters per aining o zs7epartment were discussed. A. performance bond filed by the Standard Oil Company to cover their bid for road oil, was approved and ordered filed by the Board, CEMETERY DEPARTMENT: Mr. Stanley Leszczynski, Sexton, was present and matters pertain- ing to his epar.ment were discussed.
