239 <br />• <br />0 <br />0 <br />• <br />• <br />• <br />0 <br />VACATION RESOLUTION No. 2546 <br />RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PUBLIC NORMS OF THE CITY OF SOUTH Bi2?D, INDIANA: That <br />it is desirable to vacate_ the following; <br />Sycamore Street north of LaSalle Avenue <br />and <br />The first alley running east and .-est. from Sycamore Street to the east race, <br />which said alley is the first alley north of and parallel to LaSalle Avenue; <br />and <br />The first alley east of Sycamore Street running north and south from LaSalle <br />Avenue to the first east and .,rest alley North of LaSalleAvenue. <br />The following, property may be injuriously or beneficially affected by such <br />vacation: <br />Lots numbered consecutively from twenty-two (22) to twenty-nine (29), both <br />inclusive, as shorn on the recorded Plat of T=liller & Greents Second addition to <br />the Town of Lowell, now a part of the . City of South Bend: <br />also <br />Lots numbered ten (10), eleven (11), and twelve (12) as shown on the orig- <br />inal Plat of the Town of Lowell, and now a part of the City of South Bend. <br />Notice of this resolution shall be published on the 8th day of TIarch and on <br />the 15th day of March, 1946 in the South Bend Daily Tribune and the ': eekly Mirror. <br />This Board at its office in the City Hall on the 25th day of March, 1946 at <br />11:00 A.I;I. .will hear and receive remonstraices from all persons interested in or <br />affected by these proceedings. <br />Adopted this 25th day of February, 1946. <br />ATTEST: <br />.James P. Stanley Leszczynski, Sexton, was present and matters per- <br />taining to his department were discussed. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was ad <br />hourned at 11.00 A - i,4 _ <br />March 4, 1946 <br />A regular meeting of the Board of Public ,,7orks was held on Monday, lurch 4, <br />194.6 at 8:30 A.Ti. All members were present. Minutes of the last meeting were <br />read and approved. There were no claims of suppliersto be approved. <br />TRAFFIC DEPAR TT,,r ?T: I4r. Ernest I; filler, Traffic Engineer, :°ras present and matters <br />pertaining to his department were discussed. <br />ENGINEERING DEPARTWIEITT: A petition was received by the Board asking for the vaca- <br />tion of the first al ey North of Huron from Pulaski Street to the first alley ':Zest <br />of Pulaski Street. This was referred to the City Plan Comrlissior_ for investigation <br />and report. <br />DEDICATION <br />'01HEREAS: a plat with dedication of streets and alleys indicated thereon, is now <br />presented to the Board, to be known as "Anthony's Addition" to the City of South <br />Bend, Indiana; <br />This plat and dedication is filed in the records of the Board of Public ;forks <br />and Safety in Role - 21, Drawer -#4 and recorded in Book t Pages 77� , in <br />the Recorder's Office of St. Joseph County; <br />
