This was referred to the City Plan Commission for investigation <br />and report. <br />Mr. "Nilliams informed the Board that he was in need of a new one-half ton pick-up I • <br />truck, and the Board directed the Clerk of the Board to' advertise for bids for same. <br />Bids will be accepted up to 11:00 A.Tvl. on September 17, 1945. li <br />Contrac:.or s bonds in the amount of 11,000.00 were approved for Homer L. Short and <br />Virgil H. Reed d/b/a Reed Construction Company, '�Ihiteomb & Yeller, Harr;- H. Verkler and <br />C. A. Jordan Company., These were ordered filed. <br />Mr. Clyde E. Anthony Zmudzinski, Street Commissioner, was present and matters <br />pertaining to his department were discussed. <br />i <br />The Board decided that men on the Street Department who work on an hourly basis <br />j <br />should be paid for the days they worked during the V-J holiday and should be given a <br />I <br />two day paid vacation before the end of the year.
