> 212 <br />TRAFFIC DEPARTMENT: Mr. Ernest Miller, Traffic Engineer, was present and matters <br />Ing to his department were discussed. <br />pertain- <br />„ <br />ENGINEERING DEPART-1,17ENT: An }Excavation Bond was approved for Alex Niezgodski and a Con- <br />tractor's bond was approved for Gino Vannoni. These were ordered filed. <br />VACATION -RESOLUTION NO. 2538 <br />This being the date set, hearing was had on the resolution heretofore adopted by the <br />Board of Public Works for the vacation of the second alley West of Twyckenharim Drive from <br />I,'Ionroe Street to South Street under vacation resolution No. 2538. The Clerk of the Board; <br />having shown sufficient proofs of publication and no remonstrators having appeared acid <br />no written remonstrances having been filed with the Clerk, it was moved, seconded and <br />unanimously carried that the said resolution be finally adopted and the said alley be <br />:vacated. The Engineering Department is directed to prepare an assessment roll covering <br />the assessments of benefits and the awards of damages to the surrounding properties. <br />This being the date set for a public hearing on Improvement Resolution No. 2536, <br />for Sewer and Pavement on Fellows Street from Donmoyer Street to a point 1063.3 feet <br />South, one interested property owner appeared, namely, Mr. Fred Keller, of the Whitcomb <br />and r�eller Company, stating his approval of the project. Upon failure to send individual; <br />inotices to the property owners affected by the proposed improvement, the Clerk was in- <br />structed to send notices to the individual property owners affected stating that a hearing <br />will again be held on said resolution on the loth day of September, 1945 at which time <br />j the said resolution will be finally adopted or rejected. <br />STREET DEPARTMENT: Mr. ,Anthony Zmudzinski, Street Commissioner, was present and matters <br />',pertaining to his department were discussed. <br />CEMETERY DEPARTIUMT: Tv..r.
