206 June 251 1945 ii A regular meeting of the Board of Public Works was held on Monday, June 25, 1945 at 9:00 A.M. All members were present. Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved. ENGINEERING DE'PARVIIENT: Contractor's bonds in the amount of g1000.00 wech were approved for Edward Burton, George Erlandson and W. O. Graham. These were ordered filed. Upon motion duly made and seconded, the following resolution was adopted: RESGLUED: That the Federal Public Housing Authority and the Housing Authority of South Bend, Indiana, be permitted to connect a sewer drain for the comrlunity building adjacent to the Hering House on Oestern Avenue to the sewer on that Street. DEDICATION `913EREAS, a plat with dedication of streets and alleys, indicated thereon, is now presented to the ,3oard, to be known.as Jefferson Acres subdivision to the City of South Bend, Indiana; This plat and dedication is filed in the records of the Board of Public Safety in Row #21, Drawer #4 and recorded in Boo9V# Page # , in the Recorder's Office of St. Joseph County; Now THEREFORE, be -it resolved by the Board of Public 'dorks and Safety of South Bend, Indiana, that all public streets, alleys and public places dedicated to the public use in said Plat, are hereby accepted and approved by said Board for and on behalf of the City of South Bend, Indiana. The above plat was approved by the City Plan Commission and submitted to the Board for their acceptance. STREET DEPARI.TMENT: Mr. Anthony Zmudzinski, street Corzmissioner, was present and matters pertaining to his department were discussed. CEMETERY DEPAi 1LT LENT: Mr. Stanley Leszczynski, Sexton, was present and matter: pertaining to his department were discussed.
