<br />This being the date set, hearing was held on the assessment roll showing the award
<br />of damages and the assessment of benefits in the matter of the vacation of Alexis Court
<br />from the West line of Columbia Street to the East line of the Alley West of Columbia
<br />Street under vacation resolution No. 2535.
<br />In the above named assessment roll, no remonstrators appeared and no written re-
<br />monstrances were filed, the Clerk of the Board submitted proofs of publication of notice,
<br />and. same were Bound sufficient, and the Board, therefore, finds that the several lots
<br />and parcels of land have been benefitted and damages in the amounts shown on said roll.
<br />The Board, therefore, decides to take final action on said assessment roll and declares
<br />same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved without modification and the pro-
<br />ceedings closed, and the Court vacated upon receipt of the amount of benefits assessed
<br />from the various property owners so benefited and all proceedings had with reference to
<br />said Court vacation are -hereby sustained.
<br />STREET DEPARTMENT: Mr. Anthony Mnudzinski, Street Commissioner, was present and matters
<br />jpertaining to his department were discussed.
<br />Mr. Zmudzinski informed the .Board that he was in need of a grader and small sweeper
<br />and the Board instructed him to get specifications ready for advertising.

<br />STREET DEPARTMENT: Bids were received for repairing the broken spindles on the Jefferson
<br />Street bridge,, and the work was awarded to Herman Glaser, Jr., the Street Commissioner
<br />was requested to notify Mr. Glaser to proceed with the work immediately.
