This being the date set, hearing was held on the assessment roll showing the award of damages and the assessment of benefits in the matter of the vacation of .Alexis Court from the West line of Columbia Street to the East line of the Alley West of Columbia Street under vacation resolution No. 2535. In the above named assessment roll, no remonstrators appeared and no written re- monstrances were filed, the Clerk of the .Board submitted proofs of publication of noticed j and. same were found sufficient, and the Board, therefore, finds that the several lots and parcels of land have been benefitted and damages in the amounts shown on said roll. The Board, therefore, decides to take final action on said assessment roll and declares y same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved without modification and the pro- 11 ceedings closed, and the Court vacated upon receipt of the amount of benefits assessed '! jfrom the various property owners so benefited and all proceedings had with reference to said Court vacation are -hereby sustained. STREET DEPARTMENT: Mr. Anthony Mnudzinski, Street Commissioner, was present and matters ipertaining to his department were discussed. Mr. Zmudzinski informed the Board that he was in need of a,grader and small sweeper and the Board instructed him to get specifications ready for advertising. CEMETERY DEPARTMENT: Mr. Stanley Leszczynski, Sexton, was present and matters pertaining to his department were discussed. There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was adjourned at 11:15 A_M_ A'11T Clerk,` April 16, 1945 A regular meeting of the Board of Public Works was held on konday.. Streeter-Amet Company, j Chicago., Illinois Traffic Counter to record traffic movement on tape, 15 minute intervals with accumula- tive totals, Automatic battery operated $225.00 ea The Board authorized the Traffic Engineer to purchase two units from the Streeter-Amet Company at $225.00 each, and eight two -unit and eight three -unit traffic counters from the Denominator Company at 011.00 and 016.50 each respectively.
