Chicago) .26 lb. Turftread Roads, Inc. Yukan Anti -strip concentrate in drums Deerfield, Illinos containing 425# at (F.G.B. Deerfield) .28 lb. Andresen Corporation, Xotal stablizer for bituminous mixes Chicago, 45, Illinois in drums containing_425# (F.O.B. Chi.) .26 lb. It was the decision of the Board to accept the bids of the `I'aranoyl Company and the .Andresen Corporation. CEMETERY DEPARTMENT: Mr, Stanley Leszczynski, Sexton, was present and matters pertaining Ito His department were discussed. Mr. Leszczynski presented his report for the month of March, 1945. ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT: jj . A sewer in an alley South of Colfax Avenue from St. Paul's Place west one-half block was approved by the Hoard. This being the date set, hearing was held on the assessment roll showing the award of damages and the assessment of benefits in the matter of Vacation of the alley West of Olive Street from Orange Street to the South line of the alley North of Grange Street In the above named assessment roll, no remonstrators appeared and no written re- monstrances were filed, the Clerk o.f the Board submitted proofs of publication of notice and same were found sufficient, and the Board, therefore, finds that the several lots and parcels of land have been benefited and damages in the amounts shown on said roll. The Board there, fore decides to take final action on said assessment roll and declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved without modification and the pro- 11ceedings closed, and the alley vacated upon receipt of the amount of benefits assessed 1 from the various property` owners so benefittedand all proceedings had with reference to 'Isaid alley vacation are hereby sustained.
