cos <br />Vacation Resolution No. 2529 <br />! This being the date set, hearing was held on the assessment roll showing the award <br />of damages and the assessment of benefits in the matter of the vacation of Donald Street <br />from the West line of , High Street to the Studebaker Park Golf Lin%s, under vacation <br />Resolution No. 2529. <br />In the above assessment roll,.no remonstrators appeared and no written remonstrance <br />• <br />were filed, the Clerk of the Board submitted proofs of publication of notices and the <br />same were found to be sifficient, and the Board, being fully advised in the premises <br />therefore finds that the several lots and parcels of land have been benefitted and <br />damages in the amounts .shown on said roll. The Board, therefore, decides to take action <br />on said assessment roll, and declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approve <br />without modification, and the proceedings closed, and the street vacated, upon receipt <br />of the amount of benefit assessments from the various property oamers so benefitted and <br />all proceedings had with reference to said vacation are hereby sustained. <br />CEMETERY DEPARTINIENT: 161r. Stanley Leszczynski, Sexton, was present and matters pertainin, <br />to his department were discussed. <br />Mr. Leszczynski filed his report for the month of November, 1944. <br />• <br />'I <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was adjourned <br />at ll:15. All members'were present. Mlinutes of the last meeting were read and <br />approved. Salary claims for the entire month of December were approved and ordered paid <br />for $13,126.81. A remonstrance with <br />nineteen signatures <br />was filed with the Clerk <br />-of the Board <br />Attorney Joseph Pawlowski, was <br />present, representing the remonstrators, and <br />Attorney <br />• <br />Walter Arnold was present representing <br />the <br />petitioner Rocco Simeri. The hearing was <br />Ilcontinued <br />until January 8, 1945 <br />at 11:00 o'clock. <br />The City plan commission <br />approved the <br />petition to vacate Beale Street <br />from Ingle- <br />1 <br />wood place to Kessler Boulevard, <br />and it was <br />referred to the Engineer ing Department. <br />There being no further business <br />to come <br />before the Board, the meeting was adjourned <br />1 <br />at 10:00 A.19. <br />0 <br />
