<br />CEMETARY DEPARTMENT: Tyr. Stanley Leszczynski, Sexton, was present and matters pertain-
<br />ing to his department were discussed.
<br />There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was adjnurn
<br />at 10:30 A.M.
<br />MEETING - NOVEMBER 15, 1943
<br />A regular meeting of the Board of Public Works was held on Monday, November 15,
<br />1943 at 9:00 A.TdI. All members were present. Minutes of the last meeting were read
<br />and approved. Salary claims in the amount of $7,547.32 were approved and ordered
<br />paid.

<br />ENGIiEERING DEPARTMENT: This being the date set•for opening bids -received for the
<br />construction of an access road, the Chippewa Avenue Pavement Project; Indiana 12-137,
<br />and it now being 10:00 A.I., and only one bid having been received, said bid was
<br />opened and read by Mr. Clyde E. Williams, :Chairman of the Board,of Public Works.
<br />Mr. John H. Collins, of the Federal 1.7orks Agency, was present when the bid was opened.
<br />Bid was from the Reith-Riley Construction Company of Goshen, Ind! _ana and was
<br />accompanied by a bid bond check for 41,000.00 and a non -collusion affidavit and was
<br />as follows:
