f1 <br />LEGAL DEPARTMENT: Mr. Joseph Roper, Assistant City Attorney has been authorized to <br />settle the claim of Niedbalski vs The Uity of South Bend, for personal injuries allegedl <br />suffered by her in September 1939 when she fell on the west sidewalk of Grant Street in <br />iSouth Bend, Indiana, for not to exceed A1,200.00 <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, the following resolution was adopted: RESOLVED <br />j by the Board of Public Norks of the City of South Bend, State of Indiana, that it is <br />desirable and deemed necessary to condemn for a -public use, the property which lies <br />immediately south of the present South Bend City Hall, which property proposed to,be, <br />condemned is more specifically described as follows: <br />j All of Lot No. Eight q8) of the Original Plat of the City of South Bend, <br />j except the north Twenty-two (22) feet thereof, and the buildings and <br />f structures located thereon, St. Joseph County, Indiana. <br />The Board hereby fixes the 12th day of April, 1943 at ten (10:00) o'clock in the <br />morning, as the time in which the Board will receive or hear remonstrances from persons <br />�jinterested in or affected by such proceedings. <br />r <br />Dated this 22nd day of March,.1923. <br />• i� CLYDE E. Calvert, <br />1021 Nest Washington Street, South Bend, Indiana: <br />t <br />"Please have my lots in Roseland Park addition,'numbers 23-25-26 and 27, filled <br />for me by the City, with no charge to me. <br />Nh. Clyde Williams, City Civil Engineer inv&stigated and found these lots to be owned <br />by Mrs. V. B.
