Lower Company <br />19.00 <br />Studebaker Corp. <br />3.44 <br />McCaffery Company <br />1.00 <br />The following claims, to be paid out of the Special W.P.A. fund or Interceptor <br />Sewer fund, in the amount of $269.46 were approved and ordered paid. <br />Indiana Bell Telephone Co. <br />Rocco Simeri <br />6.94 South Bend Sand & Gravel 5.69 <br />250.00 Standard Oil Company -6.83 <br />STREET DEPARTMENT: Mr. Tony 7.mudzinski, Street Commissioner was present and matters <br />pertaining to his department were discussed. <br />ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT: The following letter was received from Chicago Securities Corp. <br />135 South LaSalle Street, Chicago, Illinois: <br />"At the request of Mrs. Fred Addington of 1853 Randolph Street, <br />we are authorizing -vou herewith'to fill in lots 20 and 24 of <br />Roseland Park Addition. <br />We understand that you are filling in lots in this locality <br />and this permission is granted with the understanding that there <br />will be no expenses incurred by us. <br />Mr. Clyde Williams, City Civil Engineer investigated and found these lots to be owned <br />by the Chicago Securities Corp. and has authorized the Street Department to use these <br />lots as a dump until such time as the low spots are filled in. <br />This being the date set for the final hearing on the assessment roll on Resolution <br />#2516-for sidewalk, curb and oil bound gravel roadway on Medow Lane, hearing was held. <br />In the above assessment roll, no remonstrators appeared and no written remonstrance <br />were filed, the Clerk of the Board submitted proofs of publication of notices and same <br />were found sufficient, and the Board, therefore, finds that the several lots and parcels <br />of land have been benefitted and damaged in the amounts shown on said roll. The Board, <br />therefore, decides to take action on said assessment roll, and declares same in all <br />things ratified, confirmed and approved without modification and the proceedings closed. <br />U <br />• <br />• <br />0 <br />
