STREET DEPARTMENT: Mr. Tony Zmudzinski, Street Commissioner was present and matters pertaining to his department were discussed. Mr. Zm.udzinski presented the sweeper report for the week beginning October 29, 1941. Mr. Zmudzinski was authorized to repair the sidewalks on the Hydraulic Avenue bridge. i ENGINEERING DEPARTtvENT: The Board approved the plans for sidewalk, curbs and pavement on Bissell Street, from Campau Street to Northwood Drive, as per drawings submitted by I the Engineering Department. • A contractor's bond,,in the amount of $1000.00 was received for Charles i H. Gollatz of Mishawaka, Ind. This bond was approved and ordered filed. The Board approved the plans for the proposed driveway for the.Hill's Building on E. Jefferson Blvd. A contractor's bond, in the amount of $1000.00, was received for Slyvester Queer. This bond was approved and ordered filed. The Board denied the petition to cut back the curb on Jefferson Street, at St. Louis • Blvd., in front of the property at 701 E.
