INDIANA: That it <br />is'desirable to vacate the following;, <br />ALLEY WEST OF FRANKLIN STREET, from Indiana Avenue to the alley North of Indiana <br />Avenue. <br />The following property may be injuriously or beneficially effected by such vacation: <br />Lots 1, 21 4, & 5 Stull's 4th Addition. <br />Notice of this resolution shall be published on the 10th day of October and on the <br />17th day of October, 1941, in the South Bend Daily Tribune and the weekly Mirror. <br />This Board at its office in the City Hall on the 3rd day of November, 1941 at 10:00 <br />A. The Board approved of the construction of a canopy to this building that <br />extendsone (1) foot from the face of the building at a point nine (9) feet above grade. <br />The building face is approximately three (3) inches back of the building line,. making <br />the encroachment approximately 9". These plans were submitted by the Roseland Construc- <br />tion Co. <br />ELECTRIC DEPARTMENT: A petition was received asking for a street light at the intersec- <br />tion of Donald St., and Hoke St. also a petition for a street light at the intersection <br />of North Side Blvd. and 26th St. and a petition for two street lights on Evergreen Lane. <br />These petitions were turned over to Mr. Qualls for investigation and report. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting adjourned <br />at 10 : 30 A. 1VI . <br />A <br />0-1 <br />MEETING -- OCTOBER 6, 1941 <br />A regular meeting of the Board of Public Works was held on Monday, October 6, 1941, <br />at 9:00 A. 1.111. All members were present. Minutes of the last meeting were read and <br />approved. La Fayette St. <br />The Board approved two 30t driveways for Paults Bread Co., on Brookfield Street', <br />(Lots #1 and #17, Ru.pels First Addition. <br />!� The Board rejected the claims of D. J. Kelly and 11rs. Chas. E. Hoose on S. Scott <br />�., for reseeding parkway, after the new sewer and pavement were finished. <br />40 i <br />Mr. John Kelly of the Pepsi Cola Co., 710 Niles Ave., appeared before the Board, <br />1'asking that two men, dressed up as Pete''and Pepsi be allowed to walk on the streets. <br />The request was granted. <br />f <br />
