Ms. Dorau seconded the motion, which carried. <br />PRIVILEGE OF THE FLOOR <br />Sue Kesim wanted clarification for how the chandelier installation at the Morris Performing Arts <br />Center will be funded. She wanted to make sure the taxpayers are not funding a Broadway play. <br />Mr. Eric Horvath, Public Works Director, advised Ms. Kesim that the promotor will be funding <br />this but it has to go through the City to make sure they meet City requirements. He assured Ms. <br />Kesim that no taxpayer dollars would be used for this. She questioned what would happen if the <br />City installed the chandelier and the promotor backed out. Mr. Schmidt and Mr. Horvath advised <br />they are under contractual protection if there was a breech in contract. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, <br />seconded by Ms. Maradik and carried, the meeting adjourned at 10:49 a.m. <br />BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />Gary Gilot, Pre ident <br />Elizabeth A.
