Plans, revised Estimate of Probable Construction Costs, and any other deliverables subject to <br />any Owner -directed modifications or changes in the scope, extent, character, or design <br />requirements of or for the Project, and upon written authorization from Owner, Engineer shall: <br />1. Revise plans from review and received Owner comments. <br />2. Prepare finalized Drawings and Special Provisions indicating the scope, extent, and character <br />of the Work to be performed and furnished by Contractor. if appropriate, Special Provisions <br />shall conform to the Owner Standard Specification and other cited governing Standard <br />Specifications. <br />a. Complete and bind Quantity Calculations for use by the Owner <br />b. Finalize and prepare finalized Estimate of Probable Construction Costs <br />3. Advise the Owner of any adjustments to the Estimate of Probable Construction Cost known <br />to Engineer from changes made at the Final Plan Review. <br />4. Finalize and make available to the Owner the Project(s) Cover Sheet for necessary approvals <br />and signatures. <br />5. Develop and prepare Bidding Documents for use by the Owner in Adobe Acrobat digital file <br />format. <br />b. Final project advertisement and bid packages for use and distribution by the Owner. <br />7. The Engineer shall make available final plans and digital information to coordinate the <br />sidewalk extension project between Edison Road and Prairie Avenue on the west side with <br />the Owner's consultant. This sidewalk work shall follow these pavement rehabilitation <br />improvements. <br />A1.04 Geotechnical Services <br />A. Perform exploratory test borings and pavement cores for assessing below grade geotechnical <br />information. Exploratory borings will be made for pavement and drainage design considerations. <br />The actual location, depth and number will be dependent on the project design. <br />B. Borings are expected to be performed with truck mounted equipment and backfilled at the <br />completion of field work with auger cutting and a concrete patch at the surface. Test borings <br />will be located using measurements from existing site features shown on the Plans. <br />C. Perform appropriate laboratory test including visual soil classification, hand penetrometer <br />readings, moisture content and grain size analysis. <br />D.
