Front <br />Hose: mounted location is desired for ease of positioning <br />vacuum hose as well as minimizing need for operator to <br />swing hose into traffic. Elbow to be heavy duty. <br />All connections between debris body and vacuum system <br />will be of the self-adjusting pressure fitting type. <br />Vacuum hose will remain stationary and not raise with <br />debris body in order to minimize possibility of running <br />vacuum hose into power lines and low hanging branches. <br />The upper debris tube shall consist of an anchored steel <br />tube and elbow for additional life. The lift and swing <br />movements shall be accomplished by cylinder actuated <br />means. Gear type rotations are not preferred due to <br />maintenance consideration. <br />The boom shall be hydraulically drive up, down, left, and <br />right directions. Boom shall be controlled by a remote <br />push button control station by cable to the hydraulic <br />power swing and lift cylinders. Joy stick controls to be <br />located at the vehicle side control panel and at the front <br />control panel. Unit to include a wireless remote control <br />for all functions. <br />The control station shall come equipped with control <br />switches for all directions as well as a safety emergency <br />shut down button which automatically eliminates power <br />to the boom. <br />For operator safety, a vacuum shut off switch shall be <br />provided at the operator station that will instantly cut off <br />vacuum air flow and reduce engine RPM to idle. <br />The unit shall include an emergency stop system at every <br />operator interface/control station. <br />A cab protection device independent of cab that will <br />protect cab from boom will be provided. <br />The following 8" dia. pipe extensions with clamps will <br />be provided and carried on the truck: <br />15 <br />
