Training will include, but not be limited to, those items outlined below. Part of the training will take place at the manufacturer's plant, and any expenses incurred to complete this training will be at the expense of the successful bidder, including travel, lodging, school materials, and meals for South Bend City employees, including the following: Two (2) operators, two (2) mechanic, and one (1) supervisor Y At a minimum, the training will include those items set out below: Introduction to the Equipment and Plant Tour This will include an overview of the complete production process from the arrival of the chassis to completed unit. Viewing this production system will give the employees a better understanding of the finished product. Introduction to Operator's Manual This will include a breakdown of each section of the manual, operational controls, safety shutdown, daily and weekly maintenance, and trouble shooting. In-house Upon delivery of the unit to the City of South Bend, the Training: successful bidder will provide a factory authorized trainer to do on -street training for the operators. This training will include a review of daily and weekly maintenance and proper operations of this equipment. %-s Training will continue as long as the City of South Bend deems necessary. The successful bidder will be responsible for the cost of training the first two (2) days and the City will pay a reasonable hourly rate for any additional training past that time. Lodging and meals for the trainer are the responsibility of the bidder. 22
