RESOLUTION NO. A RESOLUTION APPROVING A SITE BOUNDED ON THE NORTH BY WESTERN AVENUE, ON THE EAST BY SCOTT STREET, ON THE SOUTH BY THE FIRST EAST-WEST PUBLIC ALLEY NORTH OF MONROE STREET, AND ON THE WEST BY CHAPIN STREET IN THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A LOW RENT HOUS- ING PROJECT CONSISTING OF APPROXIMATELY TWENTY (2 0) UNITS, BY THE HOUSING AUTH- ORITY OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. WHEREAS, the City of South Bend, Indiana, has here- tofore entered into a Cooperation Agreement with The Housing Authority of the City of South Bend, Indiana; WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of said Coop- eration Agreement, The Housing Authority of South Bend, Indiana, has requested the City of South Bend, Indiana, to approve a site comprising approximately 2 .40 acres of land located in the City of South Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana, and des- cribed as follows, to-wit: A parcel of land in the City of South Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana, bounded on the North by Western Avenue, on the East by Scott Street, on the South by the first East-West public alley North of Monroe Street, and on the West by Chapin Street, for the purpose of constructing thereon a low-rent housing project consisting of approximately Twenty (2 0) units; WHEREAS, the Housing Committee of the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, has inspected said site and has determined that it would be a desirable location for the construction of a low-rent housing project;
