<br /> In 2016,total revenue for SBACC increased by 0.83%. Pet Reclaim Fees increased by 23%. This is a result of a higher
<br /> percentage of animals being reclaimed by owners; potentially attributed to the increased use of microchips, and lost and
<br /> found social media postings.
<br /> Pet Adoption Fees increased by 20%. This is due to adopting more animals out at their standard adoption rates rather
<br /> than discounted rates (as done in the past).
<br /> Pet Licenses decreased by 11% as a result of fewer licenses being issued. Pet Microchipping decreased by 21%. Animal
<br /> Surrender fees decreased by only 2%, despite an overall reduction in the number of animals surrendered by owners
<br /> (31%fewer animals surrendered than in 2015). Our staff continues to make it a point to hold people accountable when
<br /> they bring their pets in for surrender by collecting the appropriate fees.
