I <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 199-68 <br /> A RESOLUTION FOR AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION <br /> IN ACCOUNT MVH-13 , "EXTRA AND OVERTIME" , OF <br /> THE MOTOR VEHICLE HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT, IN THE <br /> AMOUNT OF NINE THOUSAND DOLLARS ( $9 , 000 .00) <br /> AND THE TRANSFER OF THE SAME FROM ACCOUNT <br /> MVH-12 , SALARIES AND WAGES" , ALL IN THE SAME <br /> CATEGORY AND WITHIN THE MOTOR VEHICLE HIGH- <br /> WAY FUND. <br /> WHEREAS, Certain extraordinary conditions have developed <br /> since the adoption of the existing annual budget, so that it is <br /> now necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in <br /> the annual budget for the various functions of city government <br /> to meet such extraordinary contingencies; and <br /> WHEREAS, Additional funds are needed to compensate all <br /> extra personnel and overtime pay for the Motor Vehicle Highway <br /> Department to assure its ability to function and the sum of <br /> $9 , 000 .00 is needed forthwith; and <br /> WHEREAS, A surplus exists in another account where it is <br /> not presently needed; and more specifically as follows, to-wit: <br /> $9 , 000 .00 in Account MVH-12 <br /> designated as "Salaries and <br /> Wages <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA That the sum of $9, 000. 00 be trans- <br /> ferred from Account MVH-12 designated as "Salaries and Wages" , <br /> to Account MVH-13 designated as "Extra and Overtime" , both of <br /> said Accounts being in the same category and being within the <br /> Motor Vehicle Highway Fund. <br /> t <br /> Ist&2nd REPOWS i11-2568 JMq er of th L50 on Council <br /> 00i'45,iITTEE OF THE YMM FILED JN CLERK'S Rf & <br /> PWSLIO 11-25-68 <br /> 3rd READING [410%! 20 1968 <br /> NOT APPROVED <br /> KATHRYN L.
